“I also saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up.”—Isaiah 6
When we see the Lord enthroned in heaven, everything else gets pretty tiny. Nothing is of any concern, when you can see also the Lord, high and lifted up.
Sometimes in life, Satan tries to take problems, circumstances, and worries, and shove them so close to our faces, that we cannot see God. It’s like when you take your thumb, and hold it in front of your eyes, blocking out the sun. It would be foolish to think you’re thumb is larger than the sun—but perspective dictates our vision.
Sometimes, we have to move aside those problems, cares and worries, and look directly into the Light of the World—the Son of God.
“Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face.
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.”
Peace and love, friends.
